The New Zealand Amber used in some of these pieces is extremely rare, found by chance at a depth of 150 metres underground in 2014 and Neil is the only person in the world working with it. It has been certified by the Gemnological Institute of America as genuine amber with an estimated age of 75 million years and has a natural phosphorescence which causes its colour to change as it's moved
